The Shining Star Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity that supports employees of CKE Restaurants Holdings, Inc. and its affiliates. Created by CKE employees and their valuable donations, this nonprofit organization generously helps employees in time of need.

 

The purpose of the Foundation is to "Take Care Of Our Own!" That is our mission.

 

The Foundation provides a way for our team members to support one another. Team members can contribute to the fund through payroll deductions or one-time gifts. By doing so, other team members facing personal challenges, unforeseen hardships, difficult situations or sudden emergencies, can apply for a grant up to $2,000.

Applications are reviewed upon receipt and decided by the Foundation Board every third Thursday of the month.  This process may take up to three weeks depending on the receipt of application.  Exceptions will be considered under emergency circumstances and will be communicated accordingly.
